Baked Cinnamon Apples

There’s something quietly comforting about baked apples. As they soften in the oven, the natural sweetness deepens, and the aroma of cinnamon fills the kitchen in the most nostalgic way. Baked Cinnamon Apples
Ingredients
  • 4 apples (Fuji or Gala work best)
  • 2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Preparatation Instructions

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Core the apples and place them in a baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix cinnamon, honey (or sugar), vanilla, and salt.

Fill the center of each apple with the mixture and top with nuts.

Add a small piece of butter on top of each apple (optional but recommended).

Bake for 25–30 minutes until soft and caramelized.

Serve warm — optionally with yogurt or ice cream.
