Refund policy

We are confident that you will enjoy your Ceylon cinnamon. 

If for some reason you have a need to return your order, please contact us at hello@shopcinnamonheritage.com or call + 94 71 329 0329 within business hours, and we will contact you within 24 hours. Any refund will be made by the same method as payment was received for your order. A full refund consists of the amount debited to your card or received as payment for that specific product, plus shipping costs.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. Cancellations made within this period are eligible for a full refund, including the product cost and the original shipping charges.
  • After 24 hours, orders may already be processed or shipped and therefore cannot be cancelled.

Returns

You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date, subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
  • The product must be in its original packaging and condition, with minimal use.
  • Returns will not be accepted if the product has been largely consumed (more than two servings).
  • Returns will not be accepted if the request is due to a change of mind, including preference for a different product or flavor.

We reserve the right to inspect returned products before approving a refund.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to:

  • A defective product
  • An incorrect item shipped by us
  • A product damaged during delivery

In such cases, Cinnamon Heritage will cover or reimburse the return shipping cost.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 1 day of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the product and packaging

We will arrange a replacement or refund after reviewing the issue.

Refund Processing

Once the returned product is received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Please note that bank or payment provider processing times may vary.
